Aksia is a hedge fund research and advisory firm. Aksia offers resources, analytics, and processes to assist institutional allocations to hedge funds and funds of funds. Aksia's clients have varying degrees of experience and often differ in their commitment of resources to hedge fund investing. Aksia's organizational design and services platform reflects the varying needs of our clients. Our professionals are organized as specialized teams and Aksia's clients work with each team as needed. Aksia's Sector Teams are responsible for manager research and due diligence on a global basis. Manager research for each sector includes both comprehensive knowledge of the range of institutional quality managers as well as due diligence and ongoing coverage of specific managers and funds for our clients. Our dedicated Asia Team is responsible for Asian based managers. Sector Teams are also responsible for analyzing and tracking the market conditions which effect each hedge fund strategy. Aksia's Operational Due Diligence Team independently reviews each hedge fund or fund-of-funds and its manager with an eye toward uncovering the various aspects of operational risk present in hedge fund investing. They search for conflicts of interest, review middle and back office operations and procedures, and perform background checks on key hedge fund principals. Aksia's Advisory Teams work with clients to provide the resources and know-how of Aksia in a manner which helps our clients achieve their goals. These team are responsible for working with clients on all aspects of hedge fund program design and implementation as well as delivering the appropriate set of services to each client.
