Amongst the unknown and worry around COVID-19, Acorns was proactively communicating and instituting a WFH policy. I've worked with a lot of tech start-ups over the years and Acorns is by far the most caring & advanced. • Clear mission and values that feed into every part of the company. • Transparency – From Noah to the managers, they always try to give us the WHY when they make decisions and it always circles back to our values and mission. I won't say their communications are always perfect, but I will say I've never seen a company that tries to do the right thing as much as Acorns does. • Brilliant & passionate co-workers. • Performance-driven culture – it's crazy that some reviews on glassdoor are complaining about being performance-driven. Personally, I work hard but I want to continue to develop so I can be the very best. + If we aren't working hard, we can't serve our mission. • Room for creativity – my manager always encourages me to look for creative solutions. • Available leadership – any time I've ever wanted to chat with C-Suite or VPs, they make time and treat me like an equal. • Encouraged feedback – I personally feel comfortable providing feedback to my manager but if I didn't, Acorns has an anonymous tool, Officevibe to ask questions or voice concerns. • Non-competitive environment. I haven't even talked about all the perks; catered lunches, catered breakfasts, free healthy snacks, 401(k) match, great medical benefits, on-site gym, happy hours, on-site barista, the list goes on. No company is perfect, but Acorns is the best company I've ever worked for.

It seems like there are some negative people still holding on to 'what Acorns used to be' that are becoming toxic. If you can't see how amazing it is to work at Acorns and have the opportunity to serve our mission, then the rest of us kindly request that you move on. Like you'd see at any start-up, there can be lots of changes but it seems like leadership is trying to slow changes.
