  • FANTASTIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE SUDPT

I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow within this establishment. The team that I work with is very close-knit, and we staff everything every week to know where we all stand in our line of work. Whenever I'm at work, I feel like I'm with my family. I'm always treated with respect and dignity. ABHC is my home away from home. It's comfortable to be present there. We are an educated group of people that meet the requirements to be present here, combined with the opportunities to expand. It's a fast paced facility that requires teamwork, and that's what I get when I'm working at ABHC. We meet our clients where they are and are culturally competent in all areas, no matter what the background is, there is no discrimination within this establishment. Everyone is welcome with open arms, which is very crucial to those living with a substance abuse disorder or mental health disorder. We always have a second set of eyes to review our work and to communicate where improvement is needed. In this we are sure to provide the best possible care to those that are seeking it. I've worked in other agencies before and have found them to not be as satisfying as ABHC. The CEO is approachable and offers advice when needed, which is something that I don't see in other places. He and his wife both are friendly, and provide a calming effect that I haven't recieved in other agencies. It's easy to see the genuine concern in their expressions for the staff and clients alike. Ultimately I can honestly say that I'm happy to be a part of the team. The close knit relationships that are present there creates a bond that makes it difficult to imagine doing anything else.

The only con that I have at this present time is the traffic. There again, we're going to have that anywhere within the Pacific Northwest. I always make sure to leave early to be there early. I have never been late as of yet.
