If you are a positive individual who cares most about humanity and wants to join a team committed to a cause that is bigger than each of us individually and that not only want to witness first hand how your own efforts contribute to the transformation of the lives of those you serve, but if you are interested in being a part of a team that is literally making history, inspiring top stakeholders around the world and serving as the 'tip of the spear' and at the cutting edge of influencing a new paradigm for addressing poverty and homelessness, then working for A Safe Haven is for you!

A Safe Haven is not your traditional homeless program. A Safe Haven's approach strives to foster a work family and customer service friendly environment, entrepreneurial and data driven style that is constantly evolving and growing to maximize their impact to help fill in all of the gaps that will ultimately contribute to helping people systematically and consistently achieve long-term sobriety, accountability, employment and permanent housing, without sacrificing the highest levels of integrity. Considering the urgency of the issues of those we serve, expectations for documentation, team cooperation and performance to achieve positive outcomes across the board are high. A Safe Haven is an equal opportunity employer that values both experiential and educational qualifications. We seek to hire and also attract passionate and competent individuals and people who are truly committed. A Safe Haven provides and encourages ongoing online, educational training available free to all staff and encourages real time feedback from all staff at all levels for both advancement purposes and to improve all operations. Although, ASH boasts high retention rates across all departments, and high rates of performance outcomes, some may find A Safe Haven exciting while others may find our work stressful. A Safe Haven's funding is a function of government, and philanthropic budgets and while we are a competitive employer in the field, we are subject to budgetary fluctuations, due to government budget cuts and budgeting priorities, which may reflect in staffing fluctuations from time to time. A Safe Haven is also known to cross train employees to work in different departments when changes occur or when employees seek to apply for jobs posted within. It is worth noting, A Safe Haven has more than doubled in size in spite of severe cuts over the years, due to unique public/private structure, overall demand for services from the community and performance metrics. We encourage also encourage all staff to have the ability to achieve healthy lifestyles and work life balance. Therefore, we acknowledge that A Safe Haven is not for everybody.
