Incorporated in February 1990, Atlas Tire Wholesale Inc. was founded by Peter-James Gregory as a one-man operation with one delivery vehicle and 2000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. Today, Atlas Tire comprises of 6 distribution centres totalling 230,000 square feet (114,000 in Mississauga ON, 22,000 in Scarborough ON, 64,000 in Vaughan ON, 10,000 in Delta BC, 10,000 in Edmonton AB and 10,000 in Calgary AB), 54 delivery vans and trucks and a team of 133 dedicated team members. Supporting this team is a state-of-the-art custom built B2B website, www.tiredistribution.com, a full ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business information system with integrated WMS (Warehouse Management System) and leading-edge CRM (Customer Relationship Management). This all translates to a more efficient operation, allowing for the speedy handling of client enquiries and the capability to process a high volume of orders in a timely fashion. As a value-added service, Atlas Tire also offers "tire and wheel kitting"; the assembly of tires and wheels together which allows our clients to make better use of their time. Instead of technicians having to spend time mounting and balancing tires they can fit the pre-assembled kit to the vehicle in 15 minutes and spend more time on revenue generating activities in the service bay.
