Americor Mortgage, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Thomas Balames as an in-house mortgage service for Coldwell Banker Schweitzer Real Estate in Detroit, MI. Americor grew to serve over 700 Realtors in the Midwest and provided relocation mortgage services for several Fortune 50 corporations and their executives. In the 1990's Americor helped beta-test Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector automated loan origination system. Americor coined this new online video technology "ZapLoan! and installed it in point-of-sale locations in real estate offices. ZapLoan! was years ahead of the technology boom and need-for-speed in loan approvals. In 2005, as 1-in-5 American Baby Boomers were buying second homes, Americor launched Vacation Finance www.vacation-finance.com to serve resort condo, condo hotel, fractional and timeshare developers in 9 U.S. States and Mexico. Vacation Finance provides unique consumer mortgage financing solutions for some of the top resort projects in North America. In 2010 Americor launches Bankers Home Loan www.mybankershomeloan.com a high-tech and high-touch mortgage service provider for the newly merged Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel company. This niche mortgage franchise will be a pioneer again in a new way to finance the American dream with a new level of customer service. Today, Americor, Vacation Finance and Bankers Home Loan are using state-of-art technology to streamline and more accurately document mortgage loans.
