The ACLU of Indiana is the Indiana affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU is dedicated to protecting the freedoms guaranteed to Indiana residents and businesses by the Indiana and United States Constitutions. As an organization that is eligible to receive contributions that are tax-deductible by the contributor, federal law limits the extent to which the ACLU of Indiana Foundation's may engage in lobbying activities. By contrast, most of the ACLU's litigation and communication efforts described in this Web site are done by the ACLU of Indiana Foundation.
