I've never worked in higher education before, so I can in not knowing exactly what to expect. The culture is warm, supportive, straightforward, and hard working. I haven't been in contact with EVERYONE at the school, but the experiences I've had with coworkers have all been great. Everyone is really dedicated to their work and you can tell.

I think like every place has it's quirks. The only thing I would say is that since I work outside of education specifically, I need to work extra hard to know what students are up to, stay connected, etc.
