ATI has a lot of the benefits that you commonly find at a small company. The work environment is comfortable and relaxed. It's easy to get to know pretty much everyone in the company. The people that work there are awesome. Starting salary was decent. First level managers are very easy to work with. Benefits are solid.

The owner of the company is by far the biggest problem. He is generally in the office 1 day a week. So, you are forced to email him if it is something that requires his attention and he is slow to respond if he responds at all. Many people in the office have said they've never even spoke to him. There are only around 100 people. I have never seen the owner of a company so disconnected. Also, he is not what a CEO needs to be. CEOs of corporations are normally strong, personable, charismatic faces of the company. They are leaders that everyone can get behind. The owner/CEO of ATI is meek and hates being the center of attention. I also feel he needs to have better direction for the path of the company. He is an engineer that created a company out of a product that he designed and he will always be an engineer. He desperately needs to hire a CEO/President. Some other cons are: Raises are a joke at ATI. I have heard several people going 5 years or more with no raise whatsoever. Not even something to keep up with cost of living. And even when there are raises, they're pitiful. As someone already mentioned, ATI will live and die with one customer. So, as long as that customer is doing well, things are fine. If they go downhill ATI will fall fast. There is a bit of 'it is all in who you know'. If you are one of the owner's 'buddies' you get some preferential treatment. The company structure is very flat so there is little or no room for advancement. (typical of most small companies).
