Reviews

  • Challenging and rewarding environment, maybe not for the timid Sales and Marketing Manager

Access Laser is a very challenging and fast paced place to work, it's not going to be the right place for someone that is looking for comfortable place to just "fit in" or that feels uncomfortable with a certain amount of chaos, which is a necessary element of rapid growth. Some of the older reviews reflect a culture that might have been present a long time ago, but I'm on my 4th year, and while there is a strong focus on achievement and contribution, I have never observed some overt religious agenda being used as a criterion for success or advancement. Access is an engineering driven company in the part of its growth curve where many business processes that were overlooked in a start-up are now being put in place, there are growing pains and some old versus new culture issues as a result. However the new management, focused on creating a culture of achievement and responsibility is doing a good job in this transition.

Access is a company in a transition, and that's going to continue to be challenging. Someone coming from a larger older company with engrained business practices might get frustrated in the midst of these growing pains.
